Save your soles and put yer feet up in the Shuswap. The Shuswap region selected Story & Co. to develop a comprehensive set of communication tools and guidelines. We consulted with stakeholders, deployed surveys, and conducted extensive background research. We then developed branded communication tools and processes, including logo and website, communication guidelines, trade show materials, vacation guides, brochures, ads, partner campaigns and materials, and more. Beautiful, casual, down-to-earth, and great from the ground up: that’s the Shuswap.

Our work for the Shuswap garnered awards from the Economic Development Association of Canada, including Best Brand Identity & Application, as well as Best Advertising Campaign for budgets under $600,000.

As their brand grows in strength and recognition, the Shuswap has seen continual increases tourism and economic development.

Shuswap Tourism’s vacation / travel planners are exceptional products. Over 50 pages of regional information, things to do, places to stay and eat, and detailed travel information. Story & Co. designed the planners, and facilitated an ad sales campaign to promote local businesses and offset production costs.

The images are exceptional, consistent, speak to the essence of the region’s brand, and have helped to ensure that the Shuswap is easily distinguished and recognized amongst its competition.

Shuswap Tourism website home page. The Shuswap Tourism site was developed with a focus on combining the best of simple technology with a user-centric experience. There are numerous behind-the-scenes features, such as multiple levels of administration, stakeholder and partner access to update listings, and social media integration. The events calendar, driving directions, and Google Maps integration bolster the robust site. And yet, the entire site manages to reflect the simple essence and best of the Shuswap.

This agritourism brochure was developed in conjunction with Shuswap Tourism, Tourism Kamloops & Tourism Vernon. The materials established the initiative’s own identity, yet also provided a measure of consistency and continuity with the Shuswap brand.
